Assisted Living

What is Assisted Living?

Assisted living is a type of residential care for older adults who need some help with daily activities but do not require nursing care.

Assisted living communities offer various services to help residents maintain their independence while providing support for activities such as, bathing and grooming, dressing, medication management, meal preparation and dining, housekeeping and laundry, transportation, and social and recreational activities.

These communities have staff available 24/7 to assist residents as needed. Assisted living communities also often offer amenities such as fitness centers, libraries, salon services, and communal dining areas to enhance the quality of life for their residents.
